Mash potatoes the way mom makes it

Here's a homestyle take on this classic dish the way you'll never find in any restaurant.

1 small capsicum

1 carrot

1 spring onion

1 tomato

1 grated cabbage

2 garlic pods peeled

2 green chillies

5 mashed potatoes style potatoes

small amount of coconut milk

Method:
Put everything except the potatoes in a small vessel, add 2 spoons butter and a pinch or more haldi and salt to taste. Splash in some coconut milk. Let it cook on a slow fire and then blend it. Keep aside.

Ask for mashed potatoes-style mash potatoes. Boil them and take note that the water should cover the potatoes fully. Boil it for around 20 minutes on an open flame. Then take 2 pods of garlic chopped finely, a green chilly, pinch of pepper, more butter and put it back on the gas. Mash everything and add the previous mixture. Let it cool slightly before serving.
